Zerotracer

The Zerotracer is an electrically powered cab motorcycle that combines the comfort of a car with the riding experience of a motorcycle. Due to its high aerodynamic efficiency (Cw value 0.18) and the extremely powerful electric drivetrain BRUSA's hybrid synchronous motor HSM1-6.17.12, the Zerotracer goes from 0-100 km/h faster than a Porsche 911 and can theoratically reach a speed of well over 300 km/h (currently electronically limited to 240 km/h). Thanks to BRUSA's high performance EVB1-400-40 battery and very low energy consumption, the Zerotracer can travel over 300 km on a single charge. A quick charge (80%) with BRUSA's on-board charger takes less than 30 minutes and a ful charge takes less than two hours.

In 2010/2011, this vehicle completed the Zero Emission Race around the world in record time. All BRUSA components have withstood the rigours. Even extreme voltage fluctuations in exotic countries could not throw the charger out of gear. Another realisation: There is electricity all over the world!

Full-electric Corvette C1

The 1962 Corvette was the last of the first generation of Corvettes. Like all Corvettes, it had a plastic body, making it almost lightweight for its time. A good basis for an electric car.

Our partner, Manufaktur Marton GmbH, converts classic cars into fully electric vehicles.

With our HSM1 electric motor and DMC5 inverter, the Corvette achieves a maximum power of 185 kW (252 hp).

A great project that shows how tradition and modernity can be perfectly combined.

Electric sprinter from Kreisel

Kreisel Electric developed the Mercedes Sprinter as an electric transporter. BRUSA supplied the motor-gearbox combination DTSP1 with the shorter motor HSM1-10.18.13. A 90 kWh battery guarantees a range of 300 kilometres. A 44 kW on-board charger is also included. The Kreisel Electric Sprinter is the perfect combination of economic efficiency, practical benefits and environmental firendliness. A clear advantage, not only in logistics and fleet use up to 3.5 t payload.

VW Caddy

The VW Caddy is an all-electric van converted by BRUSA. This van was developed to demonstrate that an electric vehicle with an acceptable range does not have to suffer any spatial losses for payloads. With an unladen weight of approx. 1800 kg, the Caddy - powered by BRUSA's electric motor - accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 13 seconds. This acceleration is achieved by using a hybrid synchronous motor HSM1 with 100kW power at the front axle.

BRUSA is an official member of the innovation network GeMo, which is coordinated by the Fraunhofer Institute. BRUSA has been significantly involved in the development and integration of the electric drivetrain in the VW Caddy.

Volvo C30 electric fleet

As an important milestone in the development of electric mobility suitable for everyday use and as part of its ambitious environmental strategy, Volvo has built a series of electric Volvo C30s that were fully equipped with drive components from BRUSA.

The complete BRUSA system was installed, consisting of inverter, electric motor with gearbox, on-board charger and DC/DC converter.

Electric truck E-Force

Under the motto "The better truck", the new electric truck E-FORCE is another milestone in electric mobility. BRUSA's many years of system competence guarantees the optimal coordination and reliability of the components used in the E-FORCE truck, each constisting of two electric motors HSM1, inverter DMC5, on-board charger NLG664 as well as the DC/DC converter BSC624.

E-Force One AG, with the support of Designwerk Technologies AG and Lithium Storage, is building electric 18-tonner for regional and urban goods distribution and has already won customers such as Feldschlösschen and Coop, whose fleets are already using the first E-FORCE.

eRod by Kyburz

The eRod is a purist, road-legal sports car from Kyburz. In the prototype eRod Race with an output of 150 kW, the Swiss company has installed a complete set of components from BRUSA. These include the DTSO1-096 drive set with the HSM1-10.18.13 motor, the DMC534 drivetrain inverter, the NLG664 on-board charger and the BSC624 DC/DC converter. Uncompromising in terms of technology and driving performance, the eRod offers passionate drivers maximum driving pleasure. Flurin Vicentini, Development Manager at Kyburz, sums it up: "For the flagship of the eRod series, the eRod Race, only the best is good enough, which is why we made no compromises when it came to performance and used the BRUSA drive". The powerful electric drive provides the thrust that makes the fun. The eRod is available in both low volume and kit form.

Fuell cell vehicle GreenGT H2

The French fuel cell vehicle GreenGT H2 with a 3-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor from BRUSA was presented at Le Castellet in spring 2015. What is more, ex-Formula 1 driver Olivier Panis, who has been supporting Jean-Francois Weber's ambitious project for some tme, drove a few kilometres in the GreenGT H2 during the WTCC event in the south of France. "In all the morosport classes I've raced in, I've always been a fan of the technologies", says Panis. "The GreenGT H2 is an amazing car. It's a real solution for the future. There's only water vapor coming out of the exhaust, plus the car doesn't need batteries. The performance on the track is comparable to that of conventional vehicles with internal combustion engines - and more developments are sure to follow".

Formula Student

BRUSA's IPM1-10.09.06 electric motor was developed and optimised specifically for the Formula Student teams.

Back in 2015, he said: "Every manufacturer is planning one or more e-models for the future. The e-motor will replace the combustion engine. In 10 years, no car will be sold without a plug. In 20 years, none with an internal combustion engine. In 30 years, none with a steering wheel."
